I recently restored this large Tinsley mount from the 1940′s or 1950′s. It would originally have had a Cassegrain telescope onboard as in this old ad:

Here are a few pictures that show the disassembly, cleaning and reassembly of the mount. I made a few minor repairs but most of the work was gleaning, polishing, painting and relubrication. The 60 year old grease was nearly solidified.
Here is the final result shown with a 6 inch f/15 folder refractor mounted.
